ABOUT LEOBEN, THE MONTANUNIVERSITY, OUR STUDENT RESIDENCE

The city of Leoben is the second largest city in Styria. Leoben is the southern starting point of the Austrian Iron Road. The University of Leoben is the only university for mining and metallurgy in Austria and enjoys an excellent reputation worldwide. The so called Montanuniversität has also become an important economic factor for Leoben. The students come from many countries to Leoben to use the knowledge learned here worldwide.
